About Us Come meet our team

Maria Caudle Full Spectrum Doula

I started my work in the birth world when a dear friend asked me to attend her birth as her sole support person. At the time I did not know what in the world a doula was but after that experience, I knew I was on the first steps of a new and fated path. While finishing up my degree in Biology at Northeastern University, I attended doula trainings with Birth Arts International and finished up my co-op experience at a Boston-based OB practice. In 2015, I attended Womancraft Midwifery, a local educational program to provide the didactic piece on the road to becoming a homebirth midwife.

Although my focus for the past 2.5 years has been on my midwifery apprenticeship, doula work has continued to be a huge part of my life and will hopefully continue to grow through the coming years!

    Positive Experience

“Maria’s insight and calming nature consistently helped us to make some of the important and stressful decisions involved with the childbirth process. It was Maria who led me to an absolutely phenomenal team of midwives who helped me to bring my beautiful baby boy into the world in a beautiful, natural way. Maria helped to make a process that was anything but easy, an extremely positive experience that I will never forget”

  • Comprehensive Support

    Comprehensive Support

“As a young, first time mother – I was very intimidated by all things pregnancy, especially including delivery and postpartum care. I was referred to Maria by a friend of mine, and I am forever grateful for her comprehensive support that she provided me and my husband. Hospitals and doctors naturally make me uneasy and Maria was there to make the whole process not only easy, but actually pleasant! It was wonderful to have her by our side to advocate for our needs, and throughout the whole process she reminded us that we are in control and that we have options.”

    Rolled with us

“My husband and I try to picture our labor without Maria, and we chuckle and dread the thought. She had ideas to help open my mind and body and was never offended when I said offensive things. She rolled with us like water. While you couldn’t pay me to relive this experience, it was one that has shaped my every day since. Maria is forever intertwined in our precious family.”
